Parent Honor Roll

BECOMING PART OF ST. HELENA ELEMENTARY’S PARENT HONOR ROLL

MEANS YOU HAVE MET ONE OR MORE OF THESE CRITERIA:

 

  • Parents should review their child’s grades and attendance on Parent Portal.
  • Parents should contact attendance if they feel attendance is incorrect.
  • Assure all doctors notes and parents notes are turned in to attendance within three days of the student return.
  • Parents should request parent teachers conference when students grades are a C or below.
  • Parents should have meeting with the grade level AP in the student is assigned ISS or suspended.
  • Parents should make sure their children adhere to the dress code policy.       
  • Parents should attend meetings such as Open House, Parent Teachers Conferences, etc.
  • Parents should fill out and sign all documents required by the District School policy.
  • Parents should attend at least one PTSO or other support group meeting.
  • Parents should attend at least one school program (i.e. awards assembly, Drama, Athletic event, Concert etc.).
  • Parents should help in volunteering in areas such as field trips, concession stand, parades, classroom projects, etc.
  • Parent should support their student in school clubs such as SADD, Drama, Ethos, FBLA, Robotics, Interact, Art, Gentlemen and Ladies Clubs etc.
  • Parents should vote for and support local school board members.
  • Parents should help and encourage their child to participate in community events (I.e. Parades, Water Festival, local church activities, etc.
