Katherine Malone

Welcome to Ms. Malone's Class!

Meet Your Teacher My name is Katie Malone. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I went to school at Anderson University, in Anderson, Indiana. After graduating, I decided that Indiana was too cold for my desert blood and made my way south.

I taught in the Nashville area for 5 years. I taught special education and worked with students grade K-5, with varying disabilities, in both rural and urban schools. I received a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Trevecca University. I then decided that Nashville was still too cold and I continued farther south.
I moved to Beaufort, SC in August 2014. I taught Resource Special Education at St. Helena for three years. This will be my ninth year teaching. I am excited to start the new year in 2nd grade!
I am highly qualified in South Carolina to teach special education (multi-categorical), early childhood, and elementary. I also have my South Carolina Administration License in Elementary.
A few of my favorite things are minions, anything purple, and drinking coffee!
