Check Out Procedures

During 2020/ 2021 Hybrid Instruction

The media specialist at St. Helena Elementary will follow CDC guidelines for safe handling of print materials to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Books that have been handled by students will be quarantined for 72 hours, then disinfected to the extent possible before returning to circulation. These procedures may cause delays in fulfilling requests for titles, especially popular books. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

All students at SHES, hybrid or virtual, are eligible to checkout materials from the media center, provided they do not have overdue or missing materials on their account. Students may select a book from a cart of materials pre-selected by the media specialist or use the following form to request a book.
